Our Nursery & Primary Curriculum

At our Montessori school, we nurture every child through carefully designed learning experiences that respect their natural development. Our curriculum is structured to meet the needs of children from infancy through their primary years, focusing on hands-on learning, independence, creativity, and a love for knowledge.

Creche (3 Months – 2 Years Toddler)

At the Creche, we provide a warm and secure environment where infants and toddlers are cared for with love. The Montessori approach at this stage emphasizes:
Developing trust and emotional security.
Sensory exploration through age-appropriate play.
Early motor skills development (crawling, walking, coordination).
Language stimulation through songs, rhymes, and interaction.
Social bonding in a calm, nurturing space.

Nursery 2 (3 – 4 Years & Above)

In Nursery 2, children are prepared for more structured learning while still learning through play and exploration. The focus areas include:
Pre-reading and phonics activities.
Early writing skills using sandpaper letters and tracing.
Introduction to numeracy (counting, sorting, patterns).
Creative expression through art, music, and drama.
Building confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.

Nursery 1 (2 – 3 Years & Above)

Children at this stage are eager explorers. Our curriculum introduces them to the foundations of independence and self-expression by:
Encouraging self-help skills (feeding, dressing, tidying up).
Language development through stories, sounds, and vocabulary building.
Practical life activities to strengthen fine motor skills.
Early introduction to numbers, colors, and shapes.
Social interaction through group play and activities.

Reception (4 – 5 Years & Above)

The Reception class bridges early childhood and primary education. Children here are guided to apply foundational skills in readiness for more advanced learning. The curriculum covers:
Literacy: Blending sounds, beginning reading, and simple writing.
Numeracy: Addition, subtraction, number recognition, and sequencing.
Practical life & sensorial activities for critical thinking.
Thematic learning in science, nature, and culture.
Character building, independence, and leadership skills.

Primary (5 Years & Above)

Our Primary curriculum builds upon the Montessori foundation, preparing children for lifelong success. The focus is on holistic development—academics, creativity, and moral values. Key areas include:
Literacy & Communication: Reading fluency, comprehension, creative writing.
Mathematics: Problem-solving, logic, and advanced numeracy concepts.
Science & Technology: Hands-on experiments, exploration of the natural world, and early STEM learning.
Social Studies & Culture: Understanding the world, history, geography, and community.
Arts & Creativity: Music, visual arts, drama, and crafts.
Character & Leadership: Responsibility, teamwork, and respect for others.
